Fire crews were called to tackle a blaze in the basement of a building in Manchester city centre. Five engines were dispatched to the scene in the Shudehill area just before 2pm on Saturday following reports of a fire in a building.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service , said: “Just before 2pm this afternoon , firefighters were called to reports of a fire at a building on Shudehill in Manchester city centre.
