Images from the scene shows firefighters tackling the blaze using a height appliance to spray water onto the flames, as police officers stand nearby.Speaking online, he said: "House fire on the A803 at Haggs motorway slip Rd. Fire, Ambulance and Police in attendance. Hopefully no one in the building which I understand has been unoccupied for some time. Best to use alternative route if heading west.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Emergency services are currently in attendance at a building fire on Kilsyth Road, Haggs, and there are a number of road closures in place.
