Fire crews are on scene to try and bring the blaze under control
Fire crews are currently battling a huge blaze in an abandoned building in Dundee City Centre tonight.
Emergency services raced to Barrack Street, Dundee at around 6pm after reports of a fire in the old building, which is believed to be the former Robertson's furniture shop. Locals say flames can be seen from all over the city this evening, as firefighters attempt to get the blaze under control.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6pm on Saturday police were called to assist the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, at the scene of a fire on Barrack Street.Scottish Fire and Rescue Service have been contacted for comment.
