The Scottish Fire and Rescue crews remained at the, now derelict, White Elephant Cinema until the early hours of the morning working tirelessly to tackle the flames.in both directions from closed in both directions between Mount Stuart Street and Walton Street, and drivers diverted away from the area.
However, Glasgow City Council's roads team confirmed the street, which is a main artery through the Southside suburb, fully reopened on Wednesday morning.
