Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service responded to a residence in Inglenook just before 6:30 p.m. after receiving reports of a fire with people trapped inside.
BFRS Lt. Catina Williams said there was smoke showing and at least six people – including three children- in the home when the fire broke out. The residence is located at 8322 38th Ave. North.
Two adults were still inside the house when firefighters arrived. They were rescued, and taken to the hospital.This story will be updated if more information becomes available.
