The 2020 class is made up of 45% women, 36% underrepresented ethnic or racial communities and 49% international from 68 countries.

The star-studded 2020 class includes Awkwafina, Zendaya Coleman, Beanie Feldstein, Eva Longoria, Florence Pugh, Olivia Wilde, Kaitlyn Dever, James Saito, Constance Wu, and Teyonah Parris. initiative that outlines efforts to increase inclusion and diversity at the Aademy Awards and within the organization, including creating a task force to develop new inclusion standards for Oscar eligibility.The members of the Academy, which oversees the Academy Awards, are still predominantly white men.
