Sandy Lamar Graham Jr., 40, of Hollywood, Florida, reportedly turned himself in to authorities on Saturday after hitting three banks in South Florida on Friday.
"Investigators believe the robberies were committed by the same suspect," Special Agent Michael Leverock and spokesman Jim Marshall of the FBI in Miami said, according toThe first robbery occurred around 2:36 p.m. local time at a Chase Bank on Hollywood Blvd. The suspect"implied he had a weapon and demanded money from an employee," Leverock and Marshall revealed."There were customers in the bank at the time of the robbery. There were no shots fired or injuries.
The third robbery took place at around 5:30 p.m. at a SunTrust location in Plantation, a city in Broward County, Florida. No one was injured during the incident, authorities say. It is unclear whether the suspect, later identified as Graham, had successfully robbed the third bank.
