Administrators unable to find buyer for budget airline Flybe after collapse
The low-cost airline's flights have been grounded since it went into administration on 28 January
There had been speculation Lufthansa and Air France-KLM were in talks with administrators to take over the firm.It said it would start winding-down the business, with administrators adding a further 25 employees would be made redundant immediately. Despite interest from a number of credible parties, administrators said challenging circumstances, complexities and high costs associated with the company's operating platform meant a suitable buyer could not be found.
