But the 31-year-old soon struck up an ‘intimate’ relationship with convicted killer Junior Lukelo-Mami, a court heard.
In another exchange Butcher stated she was scared of Dervan after witnessing him attacking a vulnerable inmate but he assured her she would ‘never see that side of me’. In a further conversation she told him to respect her and to ‘call me when you can have a conversation like an adult’. Dervan managed to get hold of an iPhone 6 model which allowed the pair to have video chats and exchange pictures.
