It appears that the SUV takeover has finally reached European shores, as Ford announces that it will bring the Bronco over and kill the Fiesta and Focus.

European sales of the Focus have seen a large drop since 2019 going from 224,401 units to 101,066 units by 2021. The Fiesta was even worse off, in 2018 it had 270,931 units sold and to drop below 100,000 with only 86,385 units in 2021. Even in the height of the Pandemic in 2020, the Fiesta sold 156,067, just to show how disappointing sales of Ford's small car were .
