Officials marked the recent merger of Lower Paxton Township-based Centric Bank and First Commonwealth Bank.
The merger was completed on Feb. 1 and First Commonwealth Bank completed its systems conversion and rebranding of the former Centric Bank locations from February 24 to February 26.The former Centric Bank on Governor Road in Derry Township has been rebranded and is now First Commonwealth Bank.
“I’m excited to welcome our new employees and our new personal and business banking customers to First Commonwealth Bank,” First Commonwealth Financial Corporation president and CEO, T. Michael Price, said in a news release. Husic, the former COO and president of Vartan National Bank brought together an investment group that bought and rebranded Vartan National Bank in 2007 and renamed it Centric Bank.
