John Barry McDuff was snared after authorities smashed the EncroChat phone network favoured by criminals. In one message, a fellow dealer boasted to McDuff that they had 'the biggest network in Glasgow'.

A former Mr Scotland bodybuilder involved in a lucrative drug trafficking operation was jailed today for seven years.

Mr Stalker: "They then negotiated over the price agreeing £45,000 per kilo for cocaine and £18,000 each for heroin."This person stated to McDuff: "We are different from the rest. We will make it bro.McDuff: "Defo brother we will do just fine."The duo later discussed the trafficking cannabis.Mr Stalker revealed there were further chats with "glasgowceltic" about large hauls of cocaine.

Sineidin Corrins, Deputy Procurator Fiscal for serious casework at the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service , said: “I hope that this conviction and sentence sends a strong message to others involved in this kind of criminal behaviour and demonstrates the ability of police and prosecutors to investigate, prepare and prosecute serious and organised crime of this nature.
