Matthew Fitzpatrick said a supportive message from former Linfield goal scoring ace Andy Waterworth offered up some important advice for the striker.
The 29-year-old has been playing well since battling back from an early season thigh injury, but he is first to accept strikers are judged on their goal return.Fitzpatrick broke his duck finishing off a superb team move against the Crues with an excellent header and he was quick to thank his teammates, boss David Healy and Waterworth for the support they have given him.
"Strikers are judged by goals but at the same time it's hard because it's a team game and you want to help your teammates out when they are maybe in a tricky situation. So it's about finding the balance.
