Former Corner Canyon High School linebacker Harrison Taggart, a four-star recruit who played in three games for the University of Oregon last season, is transferring to BYU.

After one season in Eugene, Taggart announced he is transferring to BYU. He appeared in three games last year and totaled 10 snaps, preserving his redshirt season. Before going to Oregon, Taggart was rated a four-star linebacker by 247Sports. At Corner Canyon, he recorded over 240 tackles — 97 of which came during his senior season.
He picked Oregon over USC, UCLA, Nebraska and a number of other Power Five schools out of high school.Ben Bywater and Max Tooley are also expected to be major contributors in that room in 2023.
