A former executive at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey was sentenced to 18 months in prison Tuesday for his role in the 2013 traffic-jam scandal known as Bridgegate.
U.S. District Judge Susan Wigenton had previously sentenced onetime Port Authority deputy executive director Bill Baroni, 47 years old, to two years in prison. She sentenced Mr. Baroni a second time Tuesday because a federal appeals court tossed a portion of his 2016 conviction.
