The plans were sent back to the drawing board
Plans for a Greggs drive-through in Bulwell have been improved after councillors sent them back to the drawing board over pollution and design concerns. .
And despite the changes, Nottingham City Council ’s planning committee chose to delay a decision on the plans on June 21, having raised further issue with potential pollution and the design of the drive-through building. The developer has since been trying to address the concerns, including through an air quality assessment.
The former Apollo Hotel, which operated as a pub, was demolished in 2012 and a hand car wash was later set up on the site. On top of the pollution and air quality survey, the applicant has also agreed to make a number of changes to the building’s design.
