Police said two children, ages 5 and 6, were located after they were reported missing from the south side of Indianapolis.INDIANAPOLIS — Two children who were reported missing from a playground on the south side of Indianapolis Wednesday have been found safe.
IMPD confirmed late Wednesday that the children, ages 5 and 6, were located, about an hour after reaching out to the public to help find the kids. Officers provided no further details about where the children were found, but thanked the community for their assistance in locating them.Amber Alerts are for children under the age of 18 who are believed to have been abducted and in danger. Police also need to have information about a suspect and their car to issue an Amber Alert.
