Raebog Road will be shut over the September weekend for the latest stage of the water project
A busy Airdrie road will be closed throughout the four-day September weekend holiday to allow for the latest stage of a £2 million sewer upgrade project.
The free download features the latest breaking news and exclusive stories, and allows you to customise your page to the sections that matter most to you.It forms part of a major nine-month project to upgrade the area’s sewer system to reduce the risk of flooding and support the future development of the proposed 500-home Berryhill development off nearby Stirling Road.
Temporary lights will then be put in place from October 1 on Glenmavis Road – beginning opposite Woodhead Crescent – as the second phase of work gets underway to install the new sewer, which will “support the growth of sustainable new housing in Glenmavis”.
