The girls were given 'treats and tickets to return to the amusement center later' as compensation for their hour stuck on the ride.
Four teen girls were rescued from Scandia in North Highlands, Calif., after getting stuck on a roller coaster on Nov. 21, 2022.Four teenagers had to be rescued this week when their car got stuck on a roller coaster at Scandia Fun Center in Sacramento County.
First responders received a call for help shortly after 6:45 p.m. Monday. When firefighters arrived at the amusement park in North Highlands, they located four teenage girls trapped on the Crazy Dane Coaster about 65 feet in the air. Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District firefighters used an aerial ladder truck to safely retrieve the girls. No injuries were reported in the incident.
Fortunately all occupants have been safely removed by an aerial lander truck. The roller coaster car was stuck at the top of the tracks approximately 65’ in the air. No injuries reported.
