Joe diGenova appeared to view the president as the king of America and the impeachment inquiry an attempt to kill him.
Outrage over the impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump took a different turn Tuesday night, with one of his defenders describing the Democrats' investigation as"regicide" and likening the whistleblowers to suicide bombers.
But the president has dismissed the inquiry as a"witch hunt," and on Tuesday the White House stating that they will not be cooperating with the inquiry.to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, said:"Given that your inquiry lacks any legitimate constitutional foundation, any pretense of fairness, or even the most elementary due process protections, the Executive Branch cannot be expected to participate in it.
Host Laura Ingraham quickly pointed out that diGenova did not mean the whistleblowers were literal suicide bombers, interjecting:"You mean political suicide bombers, obviously, before we start getting people saying 'Oh, he really meant suicide bombers!'" prompting diGenova to agree.
