"How did Eddie Hearn know about this to give all the detail, I don't remember him being around the table talking about this fight," Ngannou said.
"What I can say is he doesn't know anything about it, the only thing he knows is what he has heard like you and other people, that's clear, he doesn't know anything. "This is a real fight that's going on, the only difference is that there's not a title on the line, but it's a real fight, it's going on our record."Speaking about why Fury's, Ngannou explained that involving the WBC would have over-complicated negotiations and potentially jeopardised the fight happening.
But, he did reveal that there is still a possibility that there could be another discussion to put the title on the line now that the fight has been made.
