The Zambian centre half says Scott Brown has built a Somerset squad capable of pushing for the top - with competition for places red hot.
Musonda told the Ayrshire Post: "It was one of those nights where a lot seemed to fall for me and I kept reading things well from the set pieces. When you have the quality of delivery that we do, you're always going to get those chances. Ross Taylor had fired Stenny into a sixth minute lead before George Oakley levelled with a header from a Jay Henderson cross just two minutes later. Ayr then took total control and Musonda headed them in front when getting on the end of a driven ball from skipper Ben Dempsey.
Musonda added: "We have a real strength in depth in the squad this season and lots of boys are chomping at the bit to get in the side, which is good. It's up to the gaffer where he plays people - obviously I'd like to play centre half but I'll play wherever I'm told and the gaffer gave me a chance tonight and thankfully I took that.
