Robert Ware failed as a solicitor, as a property developer, and finally as a fraudster
A dodgy businessman who carried out a devious multi-million-pound property fraud boasted to his pals he "had more front that Blackpool and Vegas".
Ware, a failed solicitor, took up property development after leaving his old job following a disciplinary investigation in 2012, which prosecutor Nick Johnson said alerted him to the fact that documents with forged signatures could be accepted by HMLR. Their scheme resulted in massive losses, with one affected company, Seneca Bridging, losing approximately £3m. Another business, EAD Solicitors, was forced to close after being unwittingly caught up in the businessmen's dodgy dealings.
In June, he messaged Wortley: “I’m fine I know where I am. There is an old saying. Evil doers is evil thinkers... Together we stand divided we fall”.
