After being battered by storms in recent days the UK is now returning to a 'typical end of November' weather
There's a yellow weather warning for fog across Greater Manchester this morning, with rush hour drivers being urged to take extra care on the roads.
There is also a chance of delays and cancellations to flights, the Met Office warns. The yellow weather warning covers much of the west of England and the Welsh border. It runs until 11am, when fog is expected to thin and clear. After being battered by storms in recent days, most recently by Storm Conall, Met Office meteorologist Greg Dewhurst said the UK is now returning to a 'typical end of November' weather. The coming days will see a split with brighter and drier skies in the east and cloudier weather in the west.
Clear skies meant temperatures to around -4C in rural in Manchester overnight with some icy stretches, freezing fog patches, and a widespread frost. Thursday will be generally bright and cold, Mr Dewhurst said.
