A protester in France says he is “sad” King Charles III’s state visit has been postponed, saying it’s a missed opportunity to cast light on the issues behind the mass demonstrations
He said he was also protesting against the extreme right in France, which he believed was gathering more power in the country., and he disagreed with Mr Macron’s comparison of the protests to the 6 January Capitol riots in Washington DC.
He said he would love to keep protesting “to achieve reform and bring back power to the people”, but he had to return to university.
