Enjoy a day out in the Peak District this summer without worrying about traffic or parking
From rugged gritstone edges to magical woodland, the Peak District is home to some of the UK’s most beautiful scenery. That’s not to mention all the gorgeous villages dotted throughout this national park, with winding roads, scenic cottages and picturesque pubs.
Yet many beautiful walks are easily accessible via train, reducing traffic within the Peak District and taking the stress out of your visit. It can also help you to avoid the crowds of more popular destinations among drivers. With that in mind, hiking app AllTrails has compiled a list of hiking routes in the Peak District which are accessible by train.
