Former Leeds United striker Ross McCormack has hailed Georginio Rutter's second-half display in the win over Watford
Georginio Rutter is a man in form at Leeds United after a slow start to his Elland Road career, but former Whites striker Ross McCormack believes the French forward will be frustrated not to come away with a goal against Watford. Last season's January arrival was the standout performer for Daniel Farke's side as they thrashed fellow promotion hopefuls 3-0 on home soil.
He then had the ball in the back of the net but was offside. Rutter then showed some great hold-up play to tee up Crysencio Summerville but Bachmann again was at full stretch to deny the Whites.The 21-year-old was a handful all afternoon and caused chaos up against the Watford backline, playing his part in the opener prior to James' cross for Joel Piroe.
“It was more the second-half. First-half, he had the chance and should probably have scored. So he might have been a little bit frustrated at half-time,” McCormack told BBC Radio Leeds.
