Actress Gabrielle Union and NBC reached a settlement Tuesday to resolve allegations of racism and sexism on the set of “America’s Got Talent,” including that Union was threatened by a former NBC executive.Performing Arts on February 09, 2020 in Beverly Hills, California.In a joint statement, NBC and Union’s spokespeople said they have “reached an amicable resolution,” but did not provide more details about what the agreement entails.

Union filed a discrimination complaint with California’s Department of Fair Employment and Housing in June, alleging she was unfairly ousted as a judge on America’s Got Talent for raising concerns about a toxic workplace environment. Union also alleged she was threatened by former NBC Entertainment Chairman Paul Telegdy in an attempt to prevent her from filing a lawsuit against the company, which NBC has denied.
