Gaby Roslin is stepping in for Zoe Ball on the BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show, after the presenter suffered an emergency health scare just days before she was due to take a break.
BBC Radio 2 has announced a temporary change in its presenting line up following Zoe Ball 's sudden health issue.
It was later clarified that the popular Radio 2 presenter was on annual leave, having spent the weekend at Glastonbury watching her son Woody make his debut performance at Worthy Farm, whom she shares with former husband Norman Cook. Tragically, just weeks after revealing her mother's illness, Zoe shared the news of Julia's passing in April, and Gaby relayed this sad update to the breakfast show audience.
Speaking on air, she said: "It's a horrible, awful time and I know so many of you have been through this time, losing a parent, losing a loved one."
