GameofThrones female characters only have 25 percent of dialogue: Study
Game of Thrones characters such as Daenerys Targaryen, Cersei Lannister and Sansa Stark might have captured the hearts of audiences across the globe, but it turns out that they did so with fewer words than their male counterparts.
The data, which analyzed dialogue across all eight seasons of the show, was provided to the BBC by research group Ceretai. The company uses machine learning to identify diversity in popular culture, claiming the accuracy of its algorithm at about 85 percent. The last season of Game of Thrones has also come under heavy scrutiny by fans , especially in regards to the treatment of female characters.
