Locals had been reporting the smell of gas over the last few days
A gas leak in Livingston is causing rush hour rail chaos this morning after a busy line was forced to close.
The Scottish Gas Network are working to repair the broken pipe causing the leak in Knightsbridge but how long it will take is unconfirmed. “For safety reasons, the railway line is closed between the stations of Livingston North & Uphall. We’re very sorry for the inconvenience to train passengers.”
