Gavin and Stacey’s ‘Neil the baby’ is back for the Christmas special and has been seen on set looking very different from the last time he filmed the series
Filming for the Christmas series finale episode of Gavin and Stacey is in full swing, with cast members James Corden , Ruth Jones , Joanna Page and Mathew Horne all being spotted over the last week on the set in Barry, near Cardiff. Another original cast member is back, too, though fans may not recognise Oscar Hartland as ‘Neil the baby’, as the 15-year-old actor was last seen playing the role in the 2019 Christmas special when he was just 10 years old.
Oscar, who sat his GCSEs this summer, is a talented singer and musician who wants to pursue a career in acting and music as he gets older. He previously appeared on The Voice Kids in 2023, where he said: "People know me as Neil the Baby from Gavin and Stacey which I absolutely love, but now I want to be known for my music and singing."
