A crew member scouting in the Dominican Republic for the upcoming Andrea Riseborough-starring featureThe individual was injured during an undercover operation undertaken by the Dominican Drug Control Forces , a representative for Lantica Media, which operates the Lantica Pinewood Dominican Republic Studios where the production was set to take place, said in a statement. Lantica Media says the incident is being treated as a case of mistaken identity.
The crew member, who was not named, was treated at a hospital and released, according to the company."Lantica Media has requested a thorough investigation from the national authorities. The authorities have been cooperative and are working to ensure that a similar incident does not happen again in the future," the company said in its statement.
