The couple are no strangers to spending periods of time apart from each other thanks to Gorka's commitments with Strictly
Gemma Atkinson has given a little glimpse into what her and Gorka Marquez's relationship is like during time apart as she revealed a request she made that resulted in a 'firm no' from her other half.
In recent weeks, Gorka, 33, has been in rehearsals alongside his co-stars as they prepared for the new series by getting the string of pro numbers ready to be pre-recorded before they're added in to the upcoming series, which marks Strictly's 20th anniversary. It's not yet been confirmed if Gorka will have a partner for this year's series but if he does, it could mean he'll be spending more than just the weekend live shows away from home, Gemma and the couple's two children as he'll be in rehearsals with his celebrity dance partner.
However, Hits Radio host Gemma has other things to catch her fiance up on, including the squirrel that frequents the garden of their Greater Manchester home which she named 'Freddie'.
