Rishi Sunak wants to introduce national service for 18 year olds – but the Prime Minister may struggle to enforce it if teenagers have anything to do with it
The Prime Minister definitely ruffled feathers by announcing a “bold” plan to bring back national service.
“It’s going to foster a culture of service which is going to be incredibly powerful for making our society more cohesive and in a more uncertain and dangerous world it’s going to strengthen our country’s security and resilience. Despite a YouGov poll showing 34% of Brits would support a programme of this nature, youngsters have other ideas. On social media sites like TikTok, many have come forward to mock the PM.
"After this, I got ready for the battlefield, I didn't get to finish my bronzer though 'coz I literally just started getting shot at – like, what the f***? This is what I was wearing for the day – I can't believe they gave us these cargo for free because they are so cute.
