A 'wild and wonderful show' about the UK rave scene headed for Glasgow this autumn has announced that George Bowie is set to be a special guest.
Heading to the Glee Club Glasgow on November 3 – GBXperience star George will be telling his tales of "rave mayhem" on stage. “The whole thing was about unity so it's good to have a London raver like Kirk coming up and wanting to hear our side of things – he wants to celebrate all of it together.” “George was a no-brainer, he has three decades of stories! I select guests for their ability to tell a tale, people who are comfortable in front of a big crowd. That’s him. George is a natural entertainer and knows dance music inside out, of course.”
Kirk did sample the Scots rave scene from the stage as he was the main guy in rave bands like Hyper Go Go and toured legendary clubs here, but he wants to hear about it first hand on stage and take guests back to those days.
