I can't keep track of all the '90s reboots!
, the upcoming reboot will center around four friends who discover a ghost in their neighborhood’s bookstore. This ghost seems to be decidedly less helpful than the Ghostwriter of the ‘90s; instead of helping the friends solve mysteries, he “releases” fictional characters from books into the real world.
In the first teaser-trailer, released on Friday, September 27, we watch as the main characters discover the bookstore ghost as he hops from book to book, pausing at a typewriter to pen a mysterious message. The trailer doesn’t give us much more than that , but it’s enough to definitely hook our interest — and maybe wonder if our local bookstore might be haunted, too.
