WATCH: Ginger Zee shares adorable video of her sons at her workEarly Tuesday morning, Ginger took to Instagram with a heartbreaking statement concerning the school shooting, which left three nine-year-olds and three adults in their 60s dead."I'm scared. I don't want my babies to die.
She wrote: "I used to say that I couldn't imagine what my colleagues had to do covering these shootings. The "unpredictable"nature of humans," however adding: "But with 132 mass shootings already this year, more shootings than days, I would venture to say gun violence IS more predictable than the weather. More consistent at least. There is no "season" because it's… always.
Ginger added: "Like weather, I hope we can find HOPE in using the data we have. The evidence. To help save lives in [the] future. No matter how we get there – I just hope it happens. Fast. Before we lose more lives."Sending peace and love to the families in Tennessee and in every other city that has lost people to this plague."
Fans of the longtime weather reporter praised her in the comments section under the post for speaking out, writing: "Ginger you are one amazing woman. Sending positive thoughts and hugs to you and please be safe out there," and: "It's devastating and I don't think there are any moms not having those exact feelings.
