Sharon Goldie, 49, left her daughter Robyn, 13, to die on the living room sofa after accusing the youngster of 'exaggerating' when she reported feeling seriously ill
A mum who removed her daughter's bedroom door so she was forced to listen to her parent having sex with random men had previously been imprisoned for forcing her to live in dreadful conditions. Sharon Goldie, 49, left her 13 year old daughter Robyn to die on the living room sofa after accusing the young girl of 'exaggerating' when she reported feeling seriously ill. In 2018, Goldie had left their Wishaw, Lanarkshire home to go drinking at a pub.
Robyn is believed to have told social workers she had caught her mum having sex with men at their home. Hamilton Sheriff Court's fatal accident inquiry heard that concerns came to breaking point when Robyn, who had lived with her grandma for eight years, was returned to the care of her mother.
