Emergency services rushed to the scene of the crash on Moss Bank Way just after 3.30pm yesterday . The girl - whose age has not been revealed - was walking when she was knocked down.
Detectives are urging any witnesses of the crash to come forward. They particularly want to speak to anyone who has dashcam footage. "Officers are now appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have footage of the incident - including CCTV or dashcam - to please get in touch. You can do so by calling GMP's Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 0161 856 4741 quoting incident 2019 of 17/03/2023.
