A GIRL was sexually assaulted by a stranger on a footpath and cops have released images of a suspect caught on CCTV footage.
Greater Manchester Police are on the hunt after reports of a girl being assaulted at around 4.30pm yesterday.An ongoing investigation has discovered the victim was walking down a public footpath near Turner Street, Lees, Oldham.No arrests have been made as enquiries are ongoing. Inspector Katherine Murray of GMP's Oldham district, said: “We're releasing CCTV images of a man that we would like to speak to in connection with this incident, he may be able to help us with our enquiries and I would encourage anyone who thinks they may recognise him to get in touch with police as soon as you're able to.
