The unique event, which will take place on September 14, will see patients individuals, families and friends to lace up their walking shoes and bring their teddies.

The Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity is set to hold its first ever teddy bear trail to raise funds which will be led by a girl who spent 11 weeks in neonatal intensive care.

The wee girl was delivered at 26 weeks via emergency C-section due to severe ill maternal health caused by Covid. Mum, Steph Curran, was placed into a medically induced coma and didn’t get to meet her daughter until five days after she was born. The girl still attends regular hospital appointments to treat her chronic lung disease, but she doesn't let her health challenges stop her, and she is so excited to lead out Kami Bear's Teddy Trail this year.

Those wishing to take part can do so online here or at Buchanan Galleries on August 23 and 24 during a promotional event.
