An IT manager at Glasgow Kelvin College wrapped her colleague's office in festive wrapping paper as a Christmas prank.
An entire office room in Glasgow Kelvin College was gift-wrapped as part of a hilarious Christmas prank. Liz Brecken, marketing and communications manager, was left shocked when she entered the office to find everything had been covered in red and white festive wrapping. The video, recorded by a surprised Liz, shows nothing in the room having escaped the prank. Everything, including the window, chairs, table, desk, laptop, and even mouse and keyboard.
The festive prank was carried out by Michelle Harding, the college's IT manager after Liz mentioned the office was in need of a festive touch. Liz said: “It is the festive season, and that, of course, comes with some cheeky elf behaviour! “I had complained to our IT manager, Michelle, that her office looked like Santa’s Grotto next to mine, which didn’t have as much as a bauble in it. “When I arrived at work the next day, everything was covered in wrapping paper, from the chairs to my mouse. It’s honestly quite impressive – I might have to enlist Michelle in my last-minute Christmas wrapping.” Prankster Michelle said: “I felt bad when Liz said her office wasn’t looking as festive as mine, and I wanted to include her in all the fun. Some people would say I went a bit overboard, but isn’t it the season for that? “I had lots of wrapping paper left over for Christmas, and rest assured all of the paper was salvaged and will be used in Santa’s workshop.”
