Discussions will be held next week on whether or not to approve the extra funding
Almost £21,000 of additional funding is needed to cover the cost of festive lighting in Springburn and Dennistoun this Christmas .
Following discussions with Glasgow City Council it has been proposed that the Springburn Shopping Centre Tree be left in the same location and for the Wallacewell Road tree to remain at the existing location this year as well. It has also been suggested that the tree on Robroyston Road/Standburn Road Roundabout be relocated to the grass verge next to St Joseph’s nursing home.
