'I am slightly terrified'

A councillor is preparing to whizz across the Clyde on a zip slide to raise money for charity Poppy Scotland.

The Conservative politician admits he is slightly "terrified" as he gears up for the adventure on September 10 but will have his young son giving him encouragement.Shettleston Councillor Kerr said: “Having worked and fundraised closely with Poppy Scotland before, I have seen and heard first-hand the amazing work they do to support our armed forces community in Glasgow and across Scotland.
