Iain Patterson was spotted by a group of men who got him a taxi back to the Spanish hotel before his loved-ones got him on a flight back to the UK on Monday, July 24.
Iain Patterson, originally from Glasgow, jetted off on a one-week getaway to the Spanish island and was due to return to his home, in Hamilton, on Friday, July 21.
The 45-year-old went on a night out with his friend on Thursday evening, who returned to the hotel at around midnight . A group of men, from Ireland, were in Magaluf when they came across the appeal on GlasgowLive before spotting Iain. They got him a taxi back to the hotel. Iain caught a flight from Magaluf to Manchester on Monday, July 24, before getting on a bus back home. Friend James Sharp, 35, said: "He managed to make it home last night, he is doing alright but is very tired. He is well and resting."To the Irish boys, thank you for your kindness."
