Residents in the south side were surprised recently to see signs going up for the Finnieston favourite at a local neighbourhood spot and the pizza specialists have now confirmed their plans for their new restaurant.
One of Glasgow's top pizza spots has surprised food fans by expanding to the south side after their now famous sign appeared at a local neighbourhood spot.
Frank's co-owners Craig and John revealed they had been speaking to Pisces' current owner and when the opportunity arose to take it over, they couldn't turn it down. "We'll of course be offering our take on a New York/Brooklyn-style pizza as well as our hugely popular sides," Craig said. "One thing that will be different though, is that the new restaurant has a drinks licence as well, so we'll also be able to offer nice wine, nice beer and great cocktails, all with our usual friendly atmosphere and our take on great music."
"This area is fast becoming what the west end used to be, with lots and lots of great eateries, coffee shops, pubs and brunch places; it's a great place for us to be and we are quite excited to be joining the community and hopefully we can live up to everyone's expectations."
