Emergency services were originally called to the former Carnbooth House Hotel in Carmunnock at around 8pm on Thursday.
Fire crews had to return to the scene of a blaze at an abandoned Glasgow hotel days later, after a second inferno at the site.
Police sealed off the Carmunnock Bypass between Busby Road and Carmunnock Road and urged the public to avoid the area. Nearby residents are advised to keep windows and doors closed as a precaution.On Monday, Scottish Fire and Rescue chiefs revealed that a fire 'reignited' at the scene. Crews were called back to the former hotel site on Sunday morning.
An SFRS spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 8.03pm on Thursday, August 17 to reports of a derelict building on fire Busby Road, Carmunnock, Glasgow. Operations control mobilised a total of ten appliances at the height of the fire to the scene, where firefighters worked to extinguish the fire. "Crews tackled a section of the building which was alight and left at 8.30am on Sunday after ensuring the area was safe."
