Family-run business Coia's Cafe, which first opened in Glasgow over 90 years ago, will soon be opening a restaurant, bar and takeaway - including a deli food hall - inside a commercial space on the corner of Duke Street and Bellgrove Street. The new venue, Coia's Corner Market, will offer a range of dining styles from casual dining at counters to eating at tables or even enjoying their food from the comfort of your home.
"Full accessibility will be provided throughout all 3 levels with accessible toilet provided at ground floor and second level. Level access to be provided at both entrances." The document adds: "A new lobby will be formed in overhang area below flats above, which will be mainly glazed and will have fresh fruit and veg display units and seasonal promotional displays visible from the exterior.
"This will be a heated lobby providing a barrier between exterior and interior spaces to ensure heated envelope is more energy efficient with possible heat loss being controlled."The development on Duke Street at Bellgrove Street will see the site of Glasgow's former Meat Market transformed into around 250 flats in a multi-million pound project.
