A Glasgow college has been named among the top five in the UK thanks to its efforts for tackling climate change and in promoting sustainability.
The college held events throughout February and March to take part in the competition, coming in fifth when honoured at an online ceremony last week on April 20. Elsewhere more than 70 students and staff participated in planting almost 200 trees donated by Woodland Trust with one support for learning class having began a recycling project, creating pieces of art out of recyclable waste to promote their campaign.
